Kelli Glass Memorial Scholarship

In 2010, Westside Football Club established a second scholarship to honour club founder Kelli Glass. The Kelli Glass Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a female soccer player enrolled in a full time university or college program who has made a significant contribution to sport in their community by way of playing, coaching, managing and/or refereeing.

A tribute webpage to Kelli Glass is in the works. Return to this page in the coming weeks.

The Kelli Glass Memorial Scholarship is awarded every May in the amount of $500. To be eligible, applicants must be a female graduating grade twelve playing divisional soccer in a community within Metro Vancouver for the last three years. The 2011 version will be posted soon , but you can see the detailed criteria in the 2010 downloadable Guidelines and Application Form (pdf)

How Does One Apply?
Applications for the 2011 award are due May 1st, 2011 and a winner will be announced late May at the club's annual awards night. For your interest, the application requirements are very similar to the BCSA scholarship application requirements.
